I hope that by disliking this mod, women will like me more. I respect women every sunday so that maybe some day I'd get laid. That remains to be seen. As for the mod itself, I find it very offending that the maker turned alyx into a slut. Even though optional, the option to change Alyx into a sex object bothers me, and by writing this I hope my chances of getting laid will increase by even a little bit when some girl sees who much I respect women. Jokes aside it makes the game look nicer.

Good Mods I like It

Crashes reproducible at the same location every time, no matter which recommendations I follow to avoid them. Pity, looks gorgeous.

My favorite way to play the Cinematic Mod: Turn off the cinematic weapons and music. Turn off all other gameplay tweaks. Turn off 90% of post-processing effects. Turn off all the HD porn-actor / hooker / pimper / body builder character models. Ask myself why I'm playing this mod if I'm turning off almost all the features. Uninstall it and play Half-Life 2 with the MMoD instead.

This mod is amazing, although I may disagree with some stuff on the walls, and some of the weapons, it's still great

Very fun for me. I dont mind the models at all. I like that we can change the game models and how it all looks now. 10 out of 10 for me.

One of the better complete overhaul mods

It's just incredible. The attention, level, and sheer amount of detail is mind blowing. The new soundtrack is great, and really makes the game flow. On top of that, it was achieved primarily by one man. True some content is rather questionable, however it's also all optional, and even the non-optional content can be easily moded over. Truly the best mod for a game I have ever played.

I do really love this mod, it makes me want to play hl2 once again every time. but, it's there a way to fix the music? In some maps the music doesnt play and the only one that changes in vortal combat :/

Most of the mod's positive reviews are baseless reviews probably made by white knight who don't like negativity and will fight tooth and nail to make anyone that does not like this mod a bad person who can't understand art or some shit like that. This mod is objectively bad, and if some fan boy complains that "It's optional don't complain" Then I'll just tell them this: If it's optional, why even play the mod at all. Just boot up regular HL2, It's way better.
